I awake beneath a body of fresh corpses, leaking every bodily fluid upon my face.
The cadavers emptying themselves out, to make a new home for the flies

Never questioning for a moment how I ended up here,
I simply watch the bodies mold into a mound of flesh under the scorching sun
Gagging upon the mere smell of bowels leaving the bodies, I hear the buzzing

Engulfed by the flies
I watch as they feed and live in the shit, that I have learned to call a home as well
Engulfed by the flies
I watch as the maggots rise from the pieces
Engulfed by the flies
In my new world of rotting flesh and steaming shit,

I see the innocence of death,
As the decomposing meat becomes my only meal.
Soon I’m covered with the larva feasting upon me slowly,
One thought comes to mind that we all will be…
… Engulfed by the flies!
